For those who may not know, the “Freebox Revolution” is the 6th release of the access box from the French ADSL/FTTH provider named “Free”. In my case, it provides Internet access via FTTH. The box has a Web management interface from where you can configure and check statistics. The only “sad” news is that it does not provide any SNMP service. The only way to keep a eye on what goes through the ports is to log on the Web interface.

The Freebox Revolution has a nice management GUI which provides metrics about in/out traffic. Unfortunately, it can only be seen from the management pages when you’ve been authenticated.

Comme Max, je suis libre ; mais personne ne m’a jamais vu voler. Ceci étant dit, l’interface de gestion de compte Free Mobile possède depuis peu une option permettant de téléverser (c’est du Français pour dire “uploader”) un fichier audio et s’en servir comme message de répondeur.
Si vous aussi, plutôt que d’entendre votre voix dire “Bonjour, je n’suis pas là pour le moment mais vous pouvez me laisser un message après le Bip sonore” ou “Allo… Allo… Allo… Non, ne parlez pas encore, je ne suis pas là, c’est le répondeur. The Freebox Server is an ADSL/FTTH router provided by the french operator Free SA. From it’s Web interface, you can apply changes and reboot the box. But if you can’t access this Web interface, you just won’t be able to reboot the box.
