Dual SIM on the iPhone 4

Because I have a personal phone and a professional one, I decided to try a double-SIM adapter for the iPhone. I got one from [here][1]. The iPhone does not have to be jailbreaked ; mine runs the stock iOS 4.3.5. It had to be unsimlocked though as my personal provider is not the same as the one from work. Namely, it worked with both Bouygues Telecom and SFR.

Time Machine server with Synology

Crucial RealSSD C300 has TRIM on Mac OS X

I had the opportunity to get a Crucial RealSSD C300 256GB at a really decent price. According to its specs, it features TRIM. This should make a perfect disk for my MacBook Pro 13". Hercules Wireless Pico USB HWNUp-150 working on OpenBSD

Unfortunately, the Broadcom BCM4315 wireless adapter from the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is not supported by OpenBSD (as of 5.0). So I looked for a wireless USB adapter. First I looked at my favorite online shops to see what was available. Then I searched for the chipset of the adapter I’ve selected. The Hercules Wireless N USB Pico (HWNUp-150) looked perfect as it is really small. Having a look at urtwn(4), I read that, in theory, this adapter should work. In practice, it does:

Remotely reboot the Freebox Server from OpenBSD

The Freebox Server is an ADSL/FTTH router provided by the french operator Free SA. From it’s Web interface, you can apply changes and reboot the box.
